Brian Hilton Motor Group is proud to support the Rotary Youth Driver Awareness (RYDA) Program for another year in 2010.
For those of you who are not aware of this program, RYDA is designed to promote awareness and attitudinal change amongst of youth on the Coast. Year 11 students attend a day program where they are taught the many obligations and pitfalls of owning a vehicle and being a responsible adult, over six educational sessions led by local road safety experts, driving instructors, the Police, recovering survivors of road crashes, drug & alcohol educators and financial services personnel.
Brian M. Hilton along with Brian Hilton Motor Group has been involved with this program since its very beginning as our company believes it is important to prepare our youth in making such big decisions in their adult life, and explain the best and most practical way of doing things.
Brian Hilton Motor Group and is proud to supply an ABS equipped vehicle for a demonstration on the effects of speed and on the braking capacity of a vehicle. Brian himself will also attend the day to give his professional advice on how to purchase, finance and insure a new vehicle.
The RYDA Program was adopted by the Central Coast in 2002 and now runs three times a year. The program is also on offer in the Sydney Metropolitan area as well as regional areas across NSW and Tasmania.
RYDA 2010 will run from 8th - 23rd April at Wyong Golf Course.
This Year Brian Hilton Toyota Celebrates Two Related Milestones
2009 saw the launch of the All New 3rd Generation Prius - now the
world's best-selling hybrid - and also marks 10 years as a major
supporter of National Tree Day in conjunction with Toyota Australia and
Planet Ark.
During this 10 years the Toyota Dealer network and Planet Ark have seen
around 1.2 million trees planted at Dealer events alone -a significant
part of the total 15 million tress planted since the event began in 1996.
Brian Hilton's role in National Tree Day reflects its efforts to support
both the Central Coast and the environment through an event that has the
capacity to influence attitudes.
Locally grown native seedlings were donated by Brian Hilton Motor Group
to selected schools across the Central Coast again this year, when on
Friday 31st July, students were encouraged to take part in Schools Tree
Day by planting seedlings in a nominated area of the school grounds.
Brian Hilton would like to thank all the schools and students who
contributed to the national tally of 1.5 million trees planted at over
3,500 sites nationwide this year.
